About No Snoops
Privacy shouldn't require disappearing from modern life.
That's the idea No Snoops was built around.
People should be able to travel, work, shop, communicate, and participate in public spaces without assuming that every available piece of information about them will automatically be collected, analyzed, stored, or sold. Privacy is not the same thing as secrecy. Wanting greater control over your image, your data, or your devices doesn't mean you have something to hide.
It means you believe some decisions should remain yours.
What We Do
No Snoops is a curated marketplace for privacy-enhancing consumer products. We source, evaluate, and present products across five categories:
- Apparel & Textiles - clothing and accessories designed with privacy in mind
- Eyewear - visual privacy products and privacy-oriented eyewear
- Data & Device Privacy - screen filters, camera covers, Faraday products, and device accessories
- Travel Privacy - RFID-blocking wallets, passport holders, and travel accessories
- Emerging Privacy Tech - vetted new technologies that meet appropriate evidence standards
We are intentionally starting small. The goal is not the largest possible catalog. The goal is a better one.
How We Choose What We Carry
Every product in our store goes through an evaluation process before it earns a place here. We look at what a product claims to do, what evidence supports that claim, what its limitations are, and whether it's something we'd feel comfortable recommending to someone we know.
We don't accept pay-to-play placements. We don't carry products simply because they're trending. And we try to be honest when the evidence for something is limited — because we'd rather explain a limitation than sell a fantasy.
You can read more about how we evaluate products on our How We Evaluate page.
Design Matters
Privacy products don't need to look like tactical gear. They don't need to signal paranoia, political affiliation, or preparation for a covert operation.
We believe privacy-enhancing products can be useful, attractive, comfortable, and appropriate for everyday life. That matters because tools are more valuable when people are actually willing to use them.
What No Snoops Is Not
We are not a spy shop, a hacker store, or a surveillance-evasion service. We are not interested in fear-based marketing or products designed to defeat lawful security requirements or conceal illegal activity.
Our focus is narrower and more practical: personal autonomy, biometric privacy, data minimization, consent, and lawful everyday privacy.
